I am having a strange phenomenon with my self build gear lever.
It used to work, but since a couple of days - don't ask me, what has changed - the programmed offset is not working anymore.

I am using Arduino/Mobiflight, to read the value of a switch like this one:https://www.reichelt.de/Schnappschal...0103c5b7fa26c9

One switch is triggered, when gear lever is down, another when the gear lever is moved up.
Now when I move the gear lever down for example, the switch is triggered (can see that in Mobilflight), but the value is only read for a second, than immediately jumps back to the previous value (see that in FSUIPC logging), although the switch is still in the push position.

I disabled the function to see, if another mechanism is causing this, but there is none. It's just that single switch being involved.

No clue at all, if I need to investigate in my Mobilflight settings, FSUIPC settings or if it's likely to be a hardware issue....

Hopefully someone can help with some direction!

Hi

If Push of the switch is triggerd ( Shown in the Mobiflight Logging String) then the switch is working i think !
If also the command is executed ( You say the FSUIPC value change for a second) then Mobiflight do what it should do !

To help you.... Please tell us.
What Sim (FSX, P3D v? )
What Aircraft ( Stock, PMDG Prosim ??)

And tell us exact the used Config..... What entrys are set on PRESS and on RELEASE.... Offsets, Value or EventID, Parameter
EDIT: And tell us the Settings of opposit switch in the gear leaver too !!

Finaly.... If something is broke that work in the past always think what you change sinse last 100% working periode....
Do you update the Sim ? Do you Update FSUIPC? Is Your FSUIPC UptoDate ?
Good Luck !

thanks for your support!

Here are my specs:
Sim: FSX
FSUIPC: v4.949h
Aircraft: Jeehell A320 v49.1

Mobilflight Config for "Gear Down":
FSUIPC Offset: 0x0BE8 (Int/4)
On Press Set Value: 16383
On Release Set Value: 0

I also tried with that button with the Taxi Lights function. On Press value 1 (on), on Release value 0 (off). Same effect: On When I release the switch and put back into press position, taxi light goes on for a second, then off again. .. :-(

The only thing I changed, was updating Jeehell. But that shouldn't affect the Mobilflight configuration. And as the Taxi Light function shows, there seems to be something wrong in general?

Thanks again!

Hi again

Sounds strange.... Please if possible do a other test for me.....

simply open a standard FSX aircraft like A320 or B737 or Cessna.
Then do the same testings.... Controll Gear .... Controll Taxilight ( via 0D0C Bit 3 )

If it work there then i would think maby in new Jeehell release it get a "own" Logic for that functions..... so im You try to set Gear FSUIPC recive your command BUT Jeehell reset it itself.

If it not work with Standard Aircraft then we have to check funtion of your switch or we need to tryout a other Input technic like "Keysend" or "EventID"

Please report results !

EDIT: And i see your FSUIPC is not UptoDate.... Get current version 4.971 from here http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
"Maby" Jeehell do some changes in case of new FSUIPC features.... so your "old" FSUIPC maby not support those changes ! Pleas Update it and test again before you do the other testings ! If you lucky then THIS is already the solution !
Good Luck !

Great Idea to test with another plane! Testet Gear and Taxi Light - both working!

So I strongly believe, it is the new Jeehell version! I will go in their forum for follow up.

Thanks so much, Michael!
