Ahh

Its a CH340

the Uno CH340 share same VID/PID as Megas with that 340 will do.

In case 95% of users work with Mega we decide to let MF see this as Mega.
So right.... till now you need to upload the firmware by hand or go a little tricky way and remove by hand the Mega Settings in MF Jason Files.... so it no longer see Megas.

BUT

thats not a factor if it not run well.
Please EEPROM Clear the wholde Board....
And then flash firmware (by hand)
Maybe the old system was not cleaned perfectly.
Good Luck !

You be able to flash firmware manualy but not know how to clear EEPROM ????

Easy...
Open Arduino IDE Software.
Setup for your Board ( Typ, Chipset and Com Port)
Then choose from the Example Sketches the area "EEPROM" and there the EEPROm Clear Sketch.
Upload it
Run Board ( Reset) and all is fine.

Then its "clean" like manifactur state and you can try once again with MF Firmware !
Good Luck !

Well, I manually uploaded the hex file via xloader with your guidance on first post :) Ok then I'll try that as well, danke!

All is written above :-)

A couple of UNO´s share the same VID-PID like the Megas. In case 95% of MF users work with Megas only we have to make a decison.
So we say... ALL Boards (Wahtever Mega or Uno) who share same VID will be see as MEGA from Mobiflight, cause thats usefull for 19 of 20 Users !

Solution for you....
As written above.... You need to flash frimware by hand, or you go the more comfortable way..... Put the UNO in your desk, buy a Mega and use it!

I hope you understand.... We are not against UNO users.... we spent a lot of time to supoort this board and also the Micro.
But fact is.... Megas will work in the past, now and the future. Simply use Megas and you have no problems finally.
OR
Use your Uno but expect you have to do some workarrounds !
Good Luck !

Understandable reasons why UNO is no longer supported.

Why not take it down from the list of supported modules: https://www.mobiflight.com/en/documentation/module.html#:~:text=Arduino%20Uno%C2%A0or%20compatible%20board?

That might help avoid misunderstandings...
