Hi,

I have connected with soldering 3 displays to each other for the com active and standby! The issue i have is when I switch the freq's it gives in standby a completly different freq as in the sim! Somebody knows what to do?

Hi Jeffrey,

what did you use as offsets for active and standby-frequency? 0x311A for COM1 stby and 0x034E for COM1 act? The COM1 transfer-switch EventID is 70353 and the Parameter is 536870912 (only if you use a PMDG 737!)

Where is the frequency from you get in standby after using the switch? Is this frequency shown anywhere in the sim or is it from outer space?

If your display shows in active the same as your sim and same at standby, then the values have zo change if you push the transfer button. The values itself must not change, only from left to right and vice versa.

Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for your reply!

I will check tonight first the offsets which you said! When they are the same as what I have in my configuration, i will make some pictures so you can see what I mean with the values from the standby display! Let you know tonight:)

Hi guys....

Just Note:
The Question here is.... WHAT Data is used in your Aircraft....
Standard Aircrafts work with the FSX internal System !

BUT AddOns mostly work with a Hybrid System !

The Problem is that the AddOns need to comunicate with the FSX Standard System .... For example to use the FSX ATC or to See VOR/NDB in navigation !
BUT The FSX System is verry poor and so the AddOns build there "own" Logics internal in there Code. ( To implement features that not supported in Basic FSX)

For example PMDG work with the Active Frequencys form FSX .... But Have "own" Standyby frequencys that we can NOT Readout at the moment for some Systems like ADF.

****
Solution:
In most situations we can build a provisional Solution that work 100% BUT that isn´t now synchron to the Sim itself....
For Example we can make a Com ACT/STBY Panel that switch correct for PMDG.... BUT In PMDG itself the Displays show other Data like in our Cokcpit.... But who cares if we not use the PMDG Virtual Cockpit when we already have a real Homecockpit in the future !
Good Luck !

I'm using the right offsets in mobiflight 0x311A for COM1 stby and 0x034E for COM1 act

When I do them on a separate display it is working fine, but I need com act/stb and nav act/stb on 3 displays

You confusing me my friend !!! :scared:

This Information was not told in your first request.... You tell us the values are wrong... And now you say they are ok on seperate Displays !!!!
We only can help you if you tell us 100% ALL Informations....
By the way a Info that you use XP11 instead of FSX and Standard C172 instead of PMDG or other AddOns would be helpfull too !

*****
Solution:

1. the 3 diggit Decimal Parts....
THIS is a feature of XP11 but NOT from FSX.... The XPUIPC Code is based on FSX... So THIS is not included.
You can NOT show 3 Diggit Decimals ... Only with some improvisional settings and some tricks i think ! FSX ( and XPUIPC) work only with TWO Decimals basicly.

2. It is not direct possible to split informations from ONE Value over TWO Displays.
In Your picture i see that Tube 1 Diggit 7 and 8 show "12" (from 129.325) .... on Tube 2 the Diggits 1,2 and 3 show again this value 1.29 (129.325)

As i told in lots of topics.... You can NOT Split ONE Value over 2 different MaxTubes without deeper knowleddge..

To solve your Problem....
1 Use seperate MAxModuels for each Value .... ( And so use other Displays, too)
OR
2. Find yourself a math function to split up the Value into the needed part ... So 12932 get into 932 .
Good Luck !
