Hello guys

I just started with my MCP, with 7 segment displays, I have tried the IXEG 737, all works except the V/S is not changing when I turn the encoder. Is it possible that the V/S is using a different offset? In for example the aerobask eclipse the vs is working good on the 7 segment. I hope somebody can give me a solution. Regards

A short google search show me THIS AddOn is working in Xplane !

Note: Mobiflight communicate with XPlane via XPUIPC.... Xpuipc simply emulate the basic Xplane Datareff´s to a Virtual Offset Table that is simmular to FSUIPC from FSX.
Problem.... Only the Standard Functions are emulated ( Like in FSX, too) ..... But Advanced AddOns normaly use additional functions that work with DataReff´s that NOT in the Standard Range.

So i would say.... IXEG simply use for VS Speed a custom Datareff that is NOT supported by XPUIPC..... So you can not "Read" ist with Mobiflight.

(Please Note.... I Not use Xplane and i not use this AddOn.... So i can not garantee my conclusion is 100% correct

If i´m right you have to find a way to READ the XPlane Datareff and WRITE it youreself to a free Offset in XPUIPC... Then Mobiflight can read it.
Alternate you have to use a different software (not Mobiflight) that is allow you to work DIRECT with Datareffs without the need of XPUIPC !

Sorry for that... But Mobiflight is currently not the perfect way to build XPlane Cockpits.... For Standard Aircrafts it work fine.... But AddOns are problematic !

The other program is ArdsimX you mean? I don't know if that is working better with XP11.

Basicly Yes.

I never used it ( cause i not have Xplane) But other users here report that this is a "alternate" for mobiflight.... Quality is not so good and you have to do lots of things with Script and text entrys.... So you maby will missing a comfortable GUI like in Mobiflight...... Aditional i think they support not so much stuff like LCD Displays and Motors.

BUT The big bennefit..... This Software talkes DIRECT to Xplane and not need to use a compiler like XPUIPC.
There you only need to find out the Datafreff that is used for the VS Display ( Form a list or with a freeware Datareff Scanner Tool) and then you can work with it !

MABY a good solution is a combine system.... I not try out but normaly you can use Mobiflight and ArdSim parallel..... Make all the Stuff that workes fine with Mobiflight and only the missing Parts with the other software and seperate arduinos !

Simply try out !

can you share the configuration of offset for the ixeg
