I have built my own radio module, pcb and the whole thing.

I wanna use my com radios as multi function radios. My standard radio consist of 2 e37 dual conc. encoders w/push and 4x5digits 7219 Circuits.
I have run com & nav freq, hdg, mag heading etc with absolute no issues. Thanks alot for that.

Now for the issue.
- Issue 1.
When using the default setting for AP VS & AP ALT i can get it work until it passes 9900ft, when using 5 digits it doesnt work. I have tried to play around with number of Active digits and left spacing and space etc. I just cant get it to work.
Was wondering, when having 5 digits to use for ALT. What would be the correct settings with mobiflight to use alt from 1ft showing only 1 letter up to lets say 15000ft when using all 5 digits.

- Issue 2
When using the default AP VS, i cant it to show -500 to -100 perfect, and also 0 when there its level flight. BUT when going above +100 in VS speed, it shows 1000 för +200 it shows 2000 etc. Also here i have been trying with different set of digits and left space etc. Dont really understand the logic there.
What would be the correct settings for AP VS to get to show the correct value on 4 digits ( one for - sign when negative VS) and 3 digits for 100-500 ish. (this is for GA, for bigger planes ofc more then 1000VS could be seen)

Thanks again for this great Product!

Hi

Your on right way.... The Key is the "Left Padding " and the Zero or Space Function.

Sorry i´m not on Flight Sim Computer cause i´m at work. i Hope the follow is correct and i remember right at the moment without testing this again.....
At First... you Set for the Display always the MAXIMUM number that you ever need.... For VS It´s 5 cause you can have a negative rate of more then -1000 So you need 5 Diggits.

Examples: X= A Empty Diggit.

If Value is 500 and you use 5 Diggits it should be shown as 50000 ( Cause it fill up with Zeros to the Right)
If you now use Left Padding ON and Typ "Zero" then it should show 00500 ( It now work from Right side but fill up Leftside with Zeros)
If you use Left Padding ON but SPACE instead of Zero then it should show XX500 ( That what we like)

Again i hope i remember correct. Please try out simply to change the Left Padding settings aslong you got a good result !
If you can not solve this yourself please request again... i will have a look on my next free days!
Good Luck !
