I installed a push-pull switch for the Cessna 172 fuel shutoff valve. I have X-Plane 11 and 12 with an Arduino Mega 2560 and XPUIPC. They run my compass and parking brake, so I know they are set up correctly.

I tried Event ID: TOGGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ALL. It does not have an effect. I also tried the various Fuel Setup and Select functions with no success.

The hardware function TOGGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ALL works in MSFS2020, so I know the switch and wiring are ok. Any assistance to resolve the issue with X-Plane 11/12 would be greatly appreciated.

Would someone be kind enough to write a Mobiflight LUA program to operate the Cessna-172 Shutoff Valve for both MSFS2020 and X-Plane 11/12?

I believe the parameters are as follows:
MSFS2020: TOGGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ALL

X-Plane 11/12:
By looking at the datarefs I determined the following three commands change when the fuel shutoff valve in X-Plane is pushed in/pulled out:
sim/cockpit2/fuel/fuel_tank_selector=4,0
sim/cockpit2/fuel/fuel_tank_selector_left=4,0
sim/cockpit2/fuel/fuel_tank_selector_right=4,0
