i have some problems to make it work i have

how i can totally uninstall MobiFlight to reset and subsequently restart the program?

Download MobiFlight again from the website and start it in a different folder/directory.

You can re-upload the firmware at anytime too.

You can also upload an empty config to your MobiFligy. Just remove all devices in the settings and upload he empty config.

i have totally uninstall MobiFlight,Arduino even mega2560 driver,
i restart my PC,
but when reinstall your program it start whit old configuration and don't work correctly
meaby i can't delete / uninstall because there are hidden files Who keep the old configuratios,
Yours is a very very beautiful program

Hi.

Do you mean with "Configuration" the Devices on the Board ?? ( For example that on PIN5 is a Button ??)

This is the sketch on the Arduino itself ( This is not Mobiflight or something on your computer)

To remove this you need to clear the Arduino ! Simply loadup a other script like a arduino Blink test sketch ( Via Arduino Software itself)

tried to load the Blink test sketch script but did not change anything,

I even have 2 identical modules and can not delete them

There is something strange that goes into conflict

Maybe i should do a C: format

WHAT do you mean with modules ??

Is there a device still on the Board when you use the Blink sketch ??
Is there a Config loaded in Mobiflight when you reinstall it ??
Is the Module (Arduino) listed 2 times in the Hardware Devices Menu of Windows System Settings ???

Please explane more detailed WHAT exact your problem is.

The problem is :

in the section : Extras > Einstellungen > MobiFlight Modules-Tab

i have two MobiFlight mega ( that i have rinamed nav1) I don't know why ,

i can't delete them , i have 7 Segment Display correttamente collegati completamante accesi e non funzionano ,

but in TAB Output There is this situation:

active / V description / (course1) FSUPC offset / 0x0c4E FSUPC Value / 163 Output Value / 163

if i move the rotary encoder course 1 the FSUPC Value Output Value Change the values!!! work correctly .

Does not show any errors in logging but my 7 Segment Display Is turned on completely and the numbers are not moving

there is not output

Please confirm Mobiflight realy NOT have a hidden TEMP Datasave ( Maby in Personal Document folder/temp for example)
I belive i got a simmular situation.
If i remeber right then after Deleting Mobiflight and clear Board via "Blink" AFTER a Reinstall the Board gets flashed again with Firmware BUT the used Devices in the Past was STILL on the Board.
Normaly not possible.... But it looks like if i remeber correct.

As I wrote in my first post, you have to upload an empty config to the board.

Background: the config is stored in the EEPROM - that's a different memory than the sketch uses. Just uploading the sketch will not overwrite the information in the EEPROM. If you upload an empty config - all devices removed - that should work. Still the serial number is going to be in the EEPROM and will stay the same.

EDIT: And my appology I said using BLINK Sketch will help.... I don´t know this fact until now. Sorry!!

Maranga send me a screenshot via Email..... It looks strange.

On first view it looks like Mobiflight detect ONE Board twice same time..... There are 2 Entrys in the Device Tab. One for a Mobiflight Board ( Blue MF Symbol) and below a seconde device with the "Green Arduino Symbol" and Name " Unknown"

I ask Maranga to confirm he have only 1 board set in USB.... Bit i think this is the Problem. Board is detect as Mobiboard and unknown Arduino same time.
Lets talk when we get more information !

By the Way..... Is it posible with a AddOn like Xloader or much better with the Original Arduino Software-tool to Delete the EEPROM, too ?? I know this is not needed normaly but maby he have to do this to solve the problem.

to solve my problem i have:

1: uninstalled MobiFlight

2: cleared eeprom from Arduino IDE

3: uninstalled Arduino

4: deleted from folder AppData>Local>Arduino15

I already find out in Arduino software there is a example sketch where you can delete the EEPROM.

Funny Fact.... At the moment i experimental use my boards with the Beta for new Mobiflight Version to test some new things.....
As i like to return to current Release Version i got the SAME Problem like you.
Not be able to work with my board and a unknown device in the List.....

Your Workarround is ok and work for me too
