Hi all,
I'm trying to debug what I believe to be a rotary encoder problem. This problem is occurring on a simulator setup I've inherited maintenance for, but I've also managed to replicate at home on a new setup.
I'm running v9.7.1 with an Uno. The encoder is a 4 detent per cycle model, specifically https://www.jaycar.co.nz/rotary-encoder-switch-with-pushbutton/p/SR1230.
For testing I am not connected to a simulator, but have configured the left/right actions to send A and B keyboard commands respectively. I also have logging enabled in Mobiflight.
Fast actions are not configured.

When rotating the encoder in a single direction, Mobiflight logs left, right, left, right...

And with Notepad in focus while turning the knob I get ABABABAB...

I've tried the other detent types for the encoder but then no actions are logged.

This used to work in the simulator I now have to maintain (it's a full King Air BE20 cockpit running P3D v3 and an Arduino Mega), where multiple encoders for HDG/CRS/ALT are showing the same problem, so unlikely a faulty encoder.

Is it possible it's a regression with a recent Mobiflight version? Or is there something else I'm missing?

I've since tried Mobiflight v9.5 and v9.6 with the same issue. I can't explain why it's only started the last week or so.

Sounds strange to me....
What do you mean with "it´s only started the last week or so"

Means it works in the past with Mobiflight and the same setup ?.....
Same time you say it also not work with older Versions.... So this is confusing.

Hi to all,
My system is P3D V5, Windows 11, latest MF and genuine Arduino Mega.
I used for testing Elma E37 (1:1) and CTS288 (1:4)
If I attach the pins from pin2 to pin 13 all works as expected. To all other digital pins the same behavour of khaddy (for each detent right and left input in the debug box).
Did you face this strange result? And do you have any suggestion?
