Hi, I have recently brought msfs and would like to use mobiflight. I was using it with xplane and using xplane direct and data ref tool.
I'm trying to set things up to work with msfs but need a bit of help to get going. (cessna 172)

Do you use FSUIPC events?

I know there is sim connect but for msfs but there doesn't seem to be many presets available.#

Could someone please point me in the right direction how to get started. I will be looking to set things up on the Cessna 172.

Over 10.000 seems not too many ??

Simply use Simconnect!
For sure you can use FSUIPC also but its more difficult on lots of spots.

Simply use the SEARCH Bar in our Simconnect Interface ( Whatever in Input or Output) by choose for FS2020 Evensts / VAriables.

And not get fixed to C172.... Its a stock aircraft. So just search for "generic" .
Means the generic Preset for e.g. Throttle1 is pretty sure also working for Throttle of C172.
Parking Brake "generic" will work for 95%+ of Aircrafts in FS2020.

So... Not use the filter at beginning... Simply search e.g. for Parking Brake and check the hits. If its more then 30 for sure you can use a filter like "Puplisher = Asobo or = Microsoft to reduce hits.
At the end.... Try out some of the hits until one is working for you.
