When starting Mobiflight a box pops up encouraging me to install new version 9.7. That is very disturbing as my automatic start up of the cockpit halts, and I have to get out of Fullscreen in P3D, locate the check box and click NO, then get P3D back into Fullscreen and out of pause every time. Is there any way to stop that?

As i know NO.

Sebastian build this to get sure people always are on same Version.

Let me ask.... Why do you not like to upgrade.

Newest version always include newest features. Support can only be done for newest Version. And if there is really a bug we will solve it within hours/days pretty fast.

From our point of view there is never a reason to remain in a older Version!
Good Luck !

Thanks for answering pizman82!
What happens is that one of my Arduino Megas out of 6 doesn't work when I run version 9.7. When I started I am asked to upload firmware and especially to the board not working. I get upload successful but then a message saying: "Orphaned serials found" referring to that Arduino, and also this message:
" Some boards can't be auto-flashed because the board type is ambiguous.
COM9: Arduino Mega 2560 or Arduino Uno.
Please manually flash the boards using "upload firmware" and
select the correct board type from the menu".
This I do with no improvement. What I can see on that board in the Config Wizard and in the Display tab is that my devices are greyed out. It has firmware 2.4.0.
Reverting to version 9.6 there are no issues.

Mobiflight has come a long way and is a fantastic tool. I pretty sure version 9.7 in most ways is better than previous versions. The latest versions have been a blessing:)
But for me I go the simple way(or lazy) way of using what's giving me the least trouble.
There is a saying:" When a software is free of bugs it's outdated" ;)

Apollogy for that!

I can say with proud that our Bug Fixing pollicy is really good.
If we spot a problem we try to solve it as fast as possible ( Normaly within hours).

I´m not sure what happen.... But i also see that the number of "Flash Problems", "Unknown Modules" or "Orphand stuff" grows upthe last 7 Days.

It looks there is a bug and we try to find it.

Thanks!
Good Luck !

@varisystems,
with downgrading to version 9.6 you mean "just" the connector? Are the boards still running on firmware version 2.4.0?

Thanks and regards

I don´t know.

There was situations in the past the newer firmware work.... in Other it wont work.
I personally not downgrade and if i do then just for testing something.

If your project is small then i recommend to Backup your device settings.... (MFMC File) and EEPROM Clear the Boards and flash "old" Firmware with 9.6. Then you can add your devices easy by use the mfmc file again.
On other hand i would simply try out. If you spot no problems then use new firmware with old connector..... Why care about it, if there is no missfunction.
Good Luck !
