First of all thanks for Mobiflight. it has helped me to make my flight sim.
I am using Mobiflight and MSFS2020
I using Leo Bodnar Boards for Switches and sliders
and I am using an arduno Uno for LEDS
I have been using the presets in mobiflight for the switches and all is working fine.

The issue I am having is with the LED OUTPUTS using the Arduino Uno.

I am trying to get the following warnings lights to work.
Low fuel left tank
Low fuel Right Tank
Oil Pressure
Charge

I know the LEDS work as I tested them usng a preset master warning LED , changing the Pin number to test functionality. however I cannot find presets for the above.

I have no experience whatsoever in coding.. I wouldn't know how to write a script and where to save a script and run the script etc.

I use the C172 plane in MSFS2020 As well as the JMB VL3 . so I am making a generic GA instrument panel.

feel free to ask anything if it helps me in making this work.

thanks in advance

Hi

Build a "generic GA Panel" from Hardware Point is no problem with MF.
You just need to wire it and create the needed "Device Setup" on your Arduino.

From Software Side this is not possible as a "one in all" generic system.... Cause every single Aircraft can use different Events (Input) and Variables (Output).

So the key mostly is.... Create one File ( E.g. for the C172) and then after finish it make SAVE AS.... Rename it e.g. into JMB-VL3.mcc and now try if your Inputs and Outputs also work for this aircraft. Normaly a lot ( or a couple) of Entrys work directly.... Cause lots of planes share generic stuff like COM1 Frequency.
But pretty sure "some" things will not work.... And here you must check the HubHop Database if there exist already a own Event for this specific Aircraft.

Here "common" Aircrafts like the FlyByWire Airbus or PMDG have the big benefit of a large user base. So here already some weeks after release lots of people contribute there digged Data and we have Presets....
For non common Aircrafts ( maybe the VL3) in worst case no other user work with it already. So there exist no presets.

Solution:
Check the Database. Also try for missing stuff simply the same system from fully different Aircrafts.... E.g. if your Altitude Display not work.... Try the one from a Piper or from a Boing 747. Some times they duplicate the entry and you can use it also in your situation.
If you really not find a solution then you must use the developer Mode and check yourself what Events/Vars are used in your aircraft. Then you can build Configs AND you can share this results in HubHop.... So other users can enjoy the new presets in the future !
Good Luck !
