Hi, as previously mentioned in another post im aiming to use a Dwin HMI as the screen for my FMC.

i now have the screen and the hello world arduino sketch from Dwin. my next step was to look at the firmware and somehow hijack the variable to use as an output variable for the display.

I have downloaded the source firmware for mobiflight and followed the instructions installing PlatformIO and trying a straight build to ensure it builds before any modification however im getting an error whilst trying to build

Error: Could not find one of 'package.json' manifest files in the package

can someone please advise where im going wrong?

for anyone else interested in the dwin setup i have currently divided the screen into 16 rows and 24 columns with each row being a separate variable address
my aim is to break down the cdu output into seperate lines and pass each line to the screen using TTL

The Hello World Sketch contains the DWIN.h and LCD.h library files but the lines in the Hello sketch are as follows so this should be pretty simple and are broken down to

\\ printf_dwin(Variable memory address on Dwin,Variable to be sent is ASCII format)

//Draw_curve(1,z);
printf_dwin(0x6000,"Hello");

delay(1000);
printf_dwin(0x6000,"World");
Data=Read();

If i can get this working correctly i will follow up any other information on this post.

We have Power USers who rework the MF Firmware for there own usage.
And as you expect.... We mostly use the LCD Display Device for this..... There MF send a String (e.g. 80 chars) tpo the Board Firmware. And there you can add own code and "hijack"
the data for your own stuff that is programmed "on top" of the original Firmware.

So.... Best way for help is Join Discord and rerquest there. Elral and NeilE are the most advanced users in this point i think !
