MobiFlight Community Support

HELP PLEASE. My mobiflight fcu was working fine with 7seg displays and rotary encoders with push. After reinstall of the sim I can’t seem to get them to work again. I tried to reinstall mobiflight and fsuipc but no success. Somehow the displays don’t update output value’s. Efis encoders don’t do anything at all. If someone came across the same issues please help me out. I have to simulate with the mouse again, not fun!!!!
Help me out please.

Airplane is: fbw a32nx any of the 3 versions. Msfs

You talk about A320 Fly by wire.... So we talk about Fs2020!

I wondering why you talk about FSUIPC ??
Does FSUIPC support Fly By wire itself ? I don´t know !

We controll FBW via our own System and thats maybe also your solution....

You say you re Install FS2020 and FSUIPC..... Do you also RE-Install the Mobiflight WASM Module ?

Simply Confirm Mobiflight show "Sim connection" in Green and via Mouseover Confirm "WASM" is also green.
If you really use FSUIPC additional confirm FSUIPC is green !

Hi. Yes al is green but somehow corrupted because all was working before. Where does the wasm go cause can’t find it in the community folder. Just my mmc file. Also when reinstalled MF and cleared EEPROM of the mega doesn’t help. You also say I don’t need fsuipc but without nothing works. I’m a bit lost.

If you re-Install the Sim for sure also the WASM is gone ( its installed within the Sim / Community Folder)
Simply in MF click on Settings - FS2020 - Install WASM.
Also get sure you make a Restart from Sim.

About FSUIPC ....

Logical.... If you not install/run FSUIPC then all Inputs and Outputs based on FSUIPC will no longer work.
So if you use in Mobiflight elements that are work with FSUIPC then you need FSUIPC !

My comment was.... We have meanwhile our own interface.... ( Mobiflight FS2020 Custom Inputs and FS2020 Variables as Output) Both work via our WASM Module.
Means if you create your Configs with that features ( and not with FSUIPC Offsets and Events) THEN you no longer need FSUIPC itself !

At last... EEPROM Clear. thats not needed here.

Like always.... Split the problem!
Enable Logging Mode Typ DEBUG .... Then you can see in the Log String if e.g. a Button is detected.
If Yes you not need to flash your Mega for new.... Cause it still work fine.

Next Step is to test something Basic in Sim.... Load a Stock Aircraft and read the COM1 Frequency from preset List.
If it work you know also WASM is fine.

In easy words.... Split the situation.... Test each single.
If you confirm switch is working and also COM1 is readable then you know 100% just your used Event for your Aircraft is wrong, cause Hardware and Sim Connection is confirmed working.

Thanks for your help so far. I apologise for the topic title which I realise now really sounds bad. I’ll have a go at it again using mobiflight without fsuipc. If I understand it right I need to use your coding. Still for example for the a32nx efis I can’t get the rotary’s to do a thing even though they’re not fsuipc events. I’m so confused because it all used to work with a mix of variables. Some even with the stock 320.
Anyway I’ll give it a go again and if successful I’ll let you know Thanks for your help again.
