Hi,

Setting up the Honeycomb Bravo I found out that there are custom switch bindings, or L-Vars in some (my favorite right now) 3rd party aircraft. I am particularly talking about the SWS Kodiak, the SWS RV-14 and the //42 FreedomFox. I understand that MobiFlight should allow me to send Bravo switch changes as L-Vars to MSFS. I cannot find any kind of guide on how to do this. I have a boat load of questions, even in just getting started, basics such as:

  • Do I still use the Bravo bindings in the MSFS UI when using MobiFlight?
  • Do I change profiles needed for different planes in MobiFlight, or MSFS UI, or both?
  • How do I specify L-Var in MobiFlight?

    • NO... Cause it make no sense.
    If you press the Button on the Bravo then it execute a Command.
    If you set it up twice ( One time in Sim Controlls and another time in MF) then the button press would simply execute 2 Commands !
    Here you have to see the Bravo like a external Input..... Also MF and FS2020 receive the signale and would ececute the command you set in each programm.

    • YES and NO.

    If all aircrafts you like to use all work with same "Event" then you can use it global.
    If you like to controlll e.g. the Stock C172 Cessna and also the PMDG B737 then both will use different Events for the same thing.
    In that case you need in Mobiflight 2 Config Files..... One for the C172 and one for the B737 ( Same like 2 Profiles in FS2020)
    The only difference. MF (at the moment) can not see what aircraft is loaded....
    So you have to load the right *.mcc file for the aircraft you looking forward to use.

  • How do I specify L-Var in MobiFlight?



    • Same like all other FS2020 Stuff.
    Use our Sim Connect Interface (WASM) .
    So choose for "FS2020 Custom Event" (Input) or "FS2020 Variable" (Output) and choose for the right Preset from our Hubhop Database out of the Menue..... OR Enter the needed Code (RPN) yourself.

    FS2020 In and Out are just a alternate to the know FSUIPC Offsets and Events.... So just a click to a other tab.... Nothing else.
