Hello, i'm new here.
I'm planning to make a radio panel and I would like to know if there is a possibility of showing the frequencies of Com 1 and Com 2 simultaneously in a single 7-segment display (max7219 - 1), using a push button to change the frequencies, and on display 2 (MAX7219 - 2 in daisy chain) show the frequencies of NAV1 and NAV2?
Has anyone tried doing this?

For sure....
This is possible.

Basic Rule.... You can controll a display only with ONE config at a time.

So your solutuon is simple...

You create multiple Configs for each display ( Number of Configs = Number of Possible Situations!)

The managment is done by Precondition Tab.

There you say "Only work if "indicator" = x"

So e.g. your push button toggle a Variable to 0/1.
If variable = 0 then the first set of configs work ( Precondition is True in Variable=0)
And instead the second set of Configs is work if Precondition now say "Variable=1 !

Same logic work for Inputs.
E.g. a Encoder can controll COM1 or NAV1 whatever the indiaction is 0/1.

NOTE: Also check the Mobiflight Youtube Channel..... There are lots of tutorials, that show this system !
