Hello guys,

I'm new to andruino and mobiflight, but I need to say you are doing awesome project, thanks for it.

My problems is in inputs in Mobiflight. I have bought UNO clone, why clone? I want to try everything like programming board etc and than if I will be successfull I want to buy original board. On my clone I can read everything from P3D v3 like LED outputs, segment display works fine but if I want to send command into P3D nothing happened. I tried default Offsets (for stock planes and PMDG), I tried PMDG offsets, I tried EventIDs for PMDG and still no luck. I have read many posts accross internet, following tutorials and recommendations but still no luck. I think if I can read display values (output like LED output or segment display output) from simulator I should be able to send commnad (input) to simulator or?

I tried connector v 7.2.2 and 7.3.2 too its same. I tried firmware from 1.7.1 to 1.7.3 outputs works fine on any version but inputs no. I am really confused and I dont see way to go. I will really appreiciate any help or advise.

Hi.... Welcome to Mobiflight !

1. Clones and Uno

First Clones are good !. You not need to by a Original Board after youre testing time. The Clones work normaly 100% like the original. Maby the Lifetime and qualitiy is not so good..... But who care.... You can Buy mab 5 Clones for the prize of 1 original board.... If one get broke simply connect another.... We all (99%) here use Clones.

A Little Problem can be the UNO. Please Note UNO is still supported since less then 1 Year and is still in testing process. We see UNO not work 100% at the moment and there are some Problems already. Not shure if Mobiflight can fix all of them and "maby" Uno Support not is perfect in the future !

We recommend at the moment to use MEGA Boards if Possible. This are 100% compatible and just cost 20% more and give us more CPU Power and Pins ( Mega costs 7-12 $ for a Clone)

2. Youre Problem !
MABY this is a UNO Bug at all.... I Can´t test this cause i not use UNOs..... Some Users report that there Inputs not work... Others say all is fine....Thats a little crazzy.

If you like to test and find out here are some workflows for you.....
First i see you mixed up PMDG Stuff and Stock Aircrafts. Please Note PMDG got a own System and need special Setup.

I will recomend to test first the Standard Aircraft in P3D to get shure youre Board youre Switch and communication is working fine.
Please use the PARKING BRAKE TUTORIAL from the Mobiflight Manual to do this. ( NOT use PMDG for This.)

3. PMDG
If you can confirm the Parking Brake is working and so there is no issue in youre System then we can look for the PMDG problem.

Posible Problems there.....
- Wrong Version ( PMDG must be patched to work with Inputs and Outputs.... In Basic Release Version there is no Data Connection availble )
- Wrong FSUIPC (A verry old FSUIPC can´t comunicate with PMDG, too ... Get it up to date )
- Missing Entry in INI File ( For Data Broadcast you need to fix the PMDG Ini File YOURESELF to make communication posible)
- Correct EventID for Inputs ( PMDG Not work with standard EventID of P3D/FSX .... You need a special PMDG List Only this Events will work )

I know that UNO is problem with Mobiflight. Yesterday I tried Link2FS an it works fine, so I know that P3D is capable to recieve inputs/outputs. Today I've ordered Mega board and if I will have trouble with Mobiflight I will use Link2FS but I want to preffer MobiFlight, I can do everything without coding.
