MobiFlight Community Support

Hi everyone,

I have setup MobiFlight exactly as advised in the website and some video references. I am trying to use mobi flight with X-Plane 11. But there seems to be some error with the setup. I am getting the error of "No Active SimConnect Connection".

In the log text below the dialogue box it does show that both mobi flight and XPUIPC have managed to detect the presence of X – plane 11 and connect to it.

However when I click on the output tab and under that under the dialogue box "mappings" when I click on the row that has my button, it shows a red exclamation mark to the left and when I take my mouse over on the row it shows the error "No active simconnect connection"

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

"Simconnect" is the interface we use for FS2020 !
FSUIPC is for FSX,P3D and Optional for FS2020
XPUIPC is the interface for Xplane
And in newset VErsion we also have a direct Xplane Dataref interface !


Your Issue.....

You use in the Config Line (Output) pretty sure a Preset or a function that is build for FS2020!

On the top line of the Output Config (Sim Variable Tab) you have 4 Options to choose.
By default the most Left is set in a new config .... " Simconnect FS2020" ....
Right of it you have "Mobiflight Variable" , "FSUIPC Offset" and "Xplane Dataref"
(FSUIPC Offset is also used for XPUIPC Offsets in Xplane)

For sure with Xplane you can work with the 3 other ones but "Simconnect" is not useable cause its only for FS2020.
And that also explane the issue.... In case you have no connection to FS2020 the Red mark will tell you that !
