Hello i am a new member here and looking forward to build my own MCP for FSX default Boeing 737
i have some question
1. is there any video or the file/document that i can read about basic building of the MCP?
2. Is it possible to use multiple arduino board in the single PC to make the multiple panel like radio panel or overhead panel combining with the MCP? or do i need the other device or equipment to link the arduino?
3. where can i find the design for the MCP panel so i can print it
At First...
Here in forum we can awnser only very short and people like you ( who stand fully in the first steps) need a more deeper guidence.... Pretty sure my follow awners will occure in another new questions.
So i recommend..... Join our Discord .... https://discord.gg/99vHbK7
There we can talk with a little cold beer for one Hour ( for free) . We can share our screens and i can awnser all your current questions.
There you also find a lot of Pictures and for sure a lot of people who can help you. Everybody was on the saim point like you. We all have to start some time ago.
About Questions:
1. is there any video or the file/document that i can read about basic building of the MCP?
There is no "perfect" Video.... But there are hundrets e.g. on Youtube. You need to know if you like to use a own design or if you like to buy a premade one.
Do you like a KIT ( E.g. Panel only) and do the rest yourself or do you like a full kit including all switches so you just need to do the wire work ?
Do you like a PCB to avoid wires ? If Yes do you like to design it yourself, build it yourself or do you like to order it.
You see.... Lots of ways. So also every Video is located to a special usecase.
Also here i recommend to make a basic brainstorming at first do decide what you need and what you like !
2. Is it possible to use multiple arduino board in the single PC to make the multiple panel like radio panel or overhead panel combining with the MCP? or do i need the other device or equipment to link the arduino?
This is no Problem!
Mobiflight allow to use ~~ 100 Arduinos on a Computer. And there are also ways to use a NEtwork with another hundrets of Boards.
In case a Full B737 need maybe 30-40 Arduinos we have no problem overall.
3. where can i find the design for the MCP panel so i can print it
Yes. But again.... Like explabne above you need to know WHAT you need. If you like to use a premade Wooden Frame e.g. then the Panel need the same size.
Do you expect a 100% original part.... then e.g. you need also the right Displays for it.
Otherwise if you like to use the displays you still own, then you need a Panel that fit to this display size.
Another fact.... Print or CNC ??
Mostly people have no Printers for so hudge parts like MCP.

Summary:
Join Discord and talk to the advanced guys.
For example using Stock B737 FSX is no good idea for a Homecockpit. 30% of the MCP Switches are not functional.
For sure.... If you like to just fly for fun..... No Problem. If you like to fly Online (Vatsim) you need a much more advanced system pretty sure.
Then you have to research
- is my printer big enough for printing these panels or do i have to split it into parts (like i have to do)
- what kind of displays do i want to use with which driver PCBs....prebuild or soldered on your own (what i will do)
- it depends on how realistic your MCP should be. E.g. there are many different push buttons on the market. Do you want to print the panel in two color or any other solution in mind for the text on the panel
Especially in the combination of 3D-Printing - panels, knobs, coaxial knobs, push buttons.... - with soldering, PCBs and so on i have some experience in the meantime and would be glad to help. But to warn you...i'm not heading a 100% realistic panel from the optics, only for the function. You will find my designs i'm using here: https://www.thingiverse.com/kjoussen/collections/flight-simulator-in-use
