Hi, I'm trying to build the throttle and mixture for my Cessna C172 home cockpit.
For this project I would use a linear potentiometer that I would connect with mobiflight but I don't know how wired the potentiometer at the arduino board?
I searched any help on the forum but, if I read right, potentiometers can not be used with the mobiflight, can you confirm this?
Thanks and ciao

Confirm....

Potis not supported (at the moment) !
I know in the past we talk about that and "maby" this come in the future..... But i think not on the ToDo List at the moment.

I will recommend for Axis Controls and Potis use simply the FSUIPC Interface ( Need a registred FSUIPC for maby 30$) ... And a Joystick Controller like LeoBodnar
I not do this but short overfly this stuff... Looks like you can do nearly ALL what is need in a airplane via FSUIPC.

If you like a improvment Mobiflight solution you can think about a Encoder for this..... But remeber... The Encoder get no Endstop AND the Encoder not knows his position..... Not Good for a Throttle at all.... But it workes for maby a Light Britness switch.

By the Way......
If you simply like to work with the "standard" Joystick Axes like Throttle and Mixture ( No special stuff) then you can set this direct in FSX.... Simply use a Joystick Controller for this and define the Potentiometer like a Axis..... Set this in FSX.... Finish !
Not Perfect like with FSUIPC..... But OK, too for standard functions !
Good Luck !

Another option: get yourself a simple gamepad. Typically they come with Lin 10k potis. Wire your poti to the gamepad instead of the original one. Might be cheaper
Have a great day!

On my Cessna Cockpit I'm using Ch Flight Yoke. The yoke has three pots (rotary ones), I'm have disconnected those pots and connected two linear pots for Throttle and Mixture and the third one I'm using for my rudder.
