Hi I have a problem again here

I tried to connect the mobiflight with x plane 11. The wiring on my Rotary encoder already correct, and I assign it to rotate the heading knob on default 737. But when I tried to rotate it even with one "click", the output showing continously so the heading is increasing continously and won't be stopped until I disconnect the mobiflight and the blue light in the arduino is blinking rapidly. What did I do wrong? Is it hardware or software related problem?

Hmm, that's a good question. Do you have FSX to simply verify that it is working in general? XPUIPC can be different especially with the new XPlane. I have not tested the heading bug in XP11 yet.
Have a great day!

Sounds like a hardware issue.

What kind of encoder do you use ? Does the Problem happen only when you touch the Encoder ?
Maby you got GRD or 5V on the Metal shaft of the Encoder.... I got a simularProblem in the Past too.

So please confirm youre wire and solder work is 100% corect... Check if Wire setup on Arduino Side is 100% corect, too ....And d tell us the Type of Encoder LINK ??

At Last... Please Confirm you set the Encoder in Mobiflight Device Manager as encoder ( Not as Button) and tell us what Pins you are use for On left and On Right .
Maby if posible give me the used EventID or Offset too you use with this encoder.
Good Luck !

I have it working with p3d but with some configuration on the key & presses tab and made some mouse macro in the FSUIPC settings. I tried the Rotary encoder with the FSUIPC presets in mobiflight but nothing works for the mcp default 737.

So I tried another method by using the plugin called xjoymap to create new commands in x plane settings and configure it to my keyboard presses, and in the mobiflight I set the Rotary encoder to do the key press but again, nothing works. Please help me

I use the KY 040 Rotary encoder module which available in aliexpress but it works fine with the prepar3d but no works with x plane 11. I do set the Encoder as encoder and I forgot which pins that I used for each one.

I got no Xplane.... So a test is not posible for me at the moment....

As Sebastian told... At first you need to find out if youre Hardware is working fine.

Simply test situation:

Set the Encoder in a new Input Config.... Use for all 4 Commands ( Left, Right, FastLeft and Fast Right) each a KEYPRESS. Maby "A " for Left .... "B" for Right and so on.
THEN Start Mobiflight running and open a Text Editor or writing programm..... Get this Window Active and click with youre Mouse on the Cursor ( Like you can write now with youre keyboard) Then turn the Encoder..... If Everything ok it now should write the 4 Symbols even if you turn right/Left slow or fast.

Please Confirm THIS is working.... Then we can think about the rest. If this not workes then in youre Encoder/Wire/Setup eg. is a issue.

Alternate: You can check the "Logging" String from Mobiflight too ( Just enable the "Logging/Debug" mode in Mobiflight Setting Tab)

Please report experince !
Good Luck !
