Hi All!

I have the following momentary push button that has a led on it. Can somebody tell me how to connect to arduino mega?

Hi,

at the R16-503 the upper two connectors labeled with + and - are for the LED. Since the LED of the R16-503 operates with 3.3V you might need a resistor. The lower two connectors are for the switch.

You may connect as follows:
  • The - connector and one of the lower connectors to ground (GND)
  • The + connector to a resistor (470-1.2k may be sufficient) and the resistor to the arduino digital output. Preferable to a PWM output in order to also control the brightness
  • The other lower connector goes to the Arduino digital input

cheers
