Hi!
I have some trouble with my audio panel. Is there a way to switch COM1 recieving and COM2 recieving on and off separately? There is the FSUIPC offset 3122, but bit 5 turns both COM1 and COM2 on/off at the same time. My panel has one momentary button for each.

I think you missunderstand the System ( OR i missunderstand it all the years)

The Transmit Buttons ( Com1 and Com2) ALSO are the reciver Selectors.
You can only transmit on ONE Com at the same time..... So you can select Com1 or Com2 here.
If Com1 is selected you Transmit in Com1 AND you also listen (recieve) to Com1 .
If Com2 is selected you now talk (and also listen) to Com2 ONLY !

With the "Com Both" you additional monitor Com 2 .
Means you still transmit in Com1..... But you NOW listen to Com1 and Com2 same time.

( Not sure if it is possible to set Com2 as Transmit and then Both..... So you Listen To both but send on Com2 ..... may only Com1 Transmit is possible here. )

EDIT: Just make a Test.... in P3D it workes.... One COM is selected .... If BOTH is On you recive to both but you can still Define what Transmit ( Com1/Com2 is in use)
Good Luck !

Well, then Im quite confident that I am the one missunderstanding. :)

I think it is the audio panel in the Cessna 172 that has tricked me. There the audio panel has one rotating knob for selecting in which com channel you want to transmit. Then you have momentary buttons to select which channels you want to listen to (Com1, Com2, Nav1, Nav2, MKR, ADF etc). By using the mouse you can turn on and off the Com1 and Com2 recieving buttons independently, meaning you can turn both off at the same time (both button lights are off). That made me think both com1 and com2 were muted.
But after some tests it seems that the channel selected for transmittning always is open for recieving too, no matter if I turn it off with the corresponding recieving button (though the light on the button turns off).

Thanks for clarification.
