Hello, I'm still at the very beginning of my "Mobiflight career".
A few years ago I bought Plug & Play modules from Opencockpits and connected them to the PC with a USB port. There is a provider who has made "dividers" available so that these modules can also be used with the PMDG 737.
My question now is: Is it possible to use these devices with Mobiflight? So far it has been the case that you need Arduino boards - which is not the case with the Opencockpits products. The last version of Mobiflight includes joystick support - would that also apply to the open cockpits?

I don´t think so..... May just indirect this is possible!

MF uses Mega,Uno,Micro and Arcaze Modules..... And now it is also able to use HID Devices (Joysticks) as a Input Device.

Open Cockpit Panels as i know use OC Cards ( The open cockpit own desigend controlers that are used with "SIOC" Software.)
These are non of the supported.... No Arduino, No Arcaze , No HID

"Maybe" it is possible to use SIOC to let the OC Cards talk to Mobiflight..... But this finally make no sense. If you still need sioc to make this possible, then its much more effective to build the controll within sioc itself.

NOTE: If a other user got more detailed Info..... Let me know !!!!

As i know some users also "rework" there OC Panels.... They simply remove the card, use a Mega and wire all for new.....
So Old Panel and old Switches/LED but a new Mega inside.
Then for sure it´s compatible!
Good Luck !

Thanks. I feared or thought so.
It's not completely up-to-date anyway - only when the PMDG 737 appears do I know whether I want to use the hardware in MSFS.
But then I'll probably go the way you described and swap the card in the panels. I would like to steer clear of SIOC.
If no one has another idea, I'll open the panels when I get the chance and look inside.
It would be an advantage that I don't need so many USB inputs - and all the hardware follows a logic.
