Hi, I'm new here and confused about what's going wrong. I believe I got it downloaded and installed without issue.

However, every time I open MFConnector.exe it greats me with a Welcome to 8.1.4 window, and after that's closed then another window comes up about installing the MobiFlight WASM Module even though it already is (should this be coming up every time?).

Once I close that, the main window goes unresponsive (the window turns white, the cursor spins, it says (Not Responding) at the top of the window). It does this every single time, regardless of whether MSFS is running or not.

After about a minute or so it'll seem to be responsive again and the table in the main window will now have a row which says "Double-click row to add new config...", but as soon as that row appears it becomes unresponsive again. I've let it run for hour and it never seems to fix itself.

Any suggestions?

Sounds strange.

At FIRST..... Do you use the Official Release (8.1.4) OR a BETA Branch ( 8.1.4.xx) ??? If Beta.... Note this is experimental. When problems occure patch back to Live Version !!

If you also have problems in the Live version......

1. Try ADMIN Mode.... Not official required.... But case of problem so many many times..... I recommend to use ADMIN Mode at all time for all Programms !

2. Try a "fresh" install..... Delete the MF Folder ( BACKUP Files you still need if you e.g. save your MCC Files within the MF Folder).
Then download the newest Official Release from Homepage and paste the ZIP into a folder of Your choice.... Unpack it and try again.

"Sometimes" something goes wrong. Please try if a clean reinstall helps.
If not please report again..... Then we try to figure out what problem is occure!

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried both a fresh install and right click > Run as administrator, but it's still problematic.

Of the six or eight times I tried running it, only once it loaded normally and I was able to update the list of events, but immediately after it became unresponsive again. All the other times it became unresponsive immediately after I closed the Welcome to 8.1.4 and WASM module installation windows and entered the main program.

One thing I've noticed is that memory usage is very inconsistent. Sometimes (while frozen) it's using 350MB, sometimes it's 180MB, sometimes it's 20MB, and once it was 0.2MB. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.
