Hello,

I have been using the MobiFlight module for MSFS and it works great to set vars.
However, is there a way to get access to the values of these simvars or is that a limitation at the moment?
Thanks!

You can access HVARS and LVARS with the WASM module. Is that what you mean?

Hello,

So to explain a bit better: I am using a module for X-Touch-Mini, in which I am able to trigger the events without any problems using MobiFlight module.
As an example, for the A32NX, I am able to set the AP LOC button with the following events:
  • A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE_RELEASED
  • A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE_PRESSED

I added these to the events.txt like this:
A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE_RELEASED#0 (>L:A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE)
A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE_PRESSED#1 (>L:A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE)

Now, I would like the LED to be driven by the value of L:A32NX_AUTOPILOT_LOC_MODE, so for example, if I pressed the LOC button with the mouse to turn it off/on, I would like the LED to do the same.
Currently I am able to set the LED on/off, but I have to rely on a local state which gets de-syncd as soon as I interact with the mouse.

In the X-Touch-Mini module's config, I am able to get the values of default/legacy simvars, but when I try the same syntax with LVars and HVars the value is not accessible.

I hope this clarifies.
Thanks!

I am not positive, but I think that is a limitation at the moment. I am trying to get access also to drive 7-seg led from the Aerosoft CRJ.

OK that’s what I thought but wanted to confirm. Hoping that Microsoft and Asobo will add that capability soon!
