Hello everyone,
I tend to be a little disorganized as I learn and test things in Mobiflight, creating devices on the fly to test different aspects of the software. All devices in the Extra - Settings - Mobiflight Modules screen are listed in the order in which they were created. It would be nice to be able to change the order, but I could not find any function within MF to easily change this.
There was a post from last year here where the recommended solution was to delete and create again all devices in the correct order.

I am too lazy, so I would like to share an easy way to do this that I found by editing the mfmc file in Notepad++, without having to delete or recreate any devices. This is how:
1. As always, please backup your files before you try any editing outside of MFConnector, just in case something bad happens. You have been warned.
2. Open your Mobiflight module mfmc file in Notepad++. Please note the information is stored as an xml type structure and all the devices are listed inside the Config section, in the same order that they are displayed in MFConnector. Each device is on one line section that has the device type at the beginning.
3. Select and Cut each line or group of lines you wish to move. Paste it in the desired location. Make sure you only cut and paste complete sections, i.e. be sure to include the opening and closing brackets, so the xml syntax is not violated. This is important.
4. Repeat step 3 as necessary until you have the order of devices that suits you.
5. Save the file in Notepad++.
6. Open MFConnector. Check Extras-Settings-Mobiflight Modules. Please note the module was loaded with the old device order.
7. Select the module and press "Load Config". Select the appropriate mfmc file you modified earlier. The new order of devices is loaded into MFConnector. Please note the warning badge on the module turned on.
8. You now need to update the configuration in your module so everything is in sync by pressing the "Update Current Config to the Module" button. It is done.
By the way, I also found this same method works to change the order of Inputs and Outputs in the mcc config file.
Enjoy.
Regards,
Jaime
