Hi,

NO, your PC is NOT infected.
If you read this forum regularly, you would have read that this is a FALSE-POSITIVE message.
So stay calm and ignore this message if you download the file directly from the MobiFlight server

Mine wont even download from the server. I get the following message:

"Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software".

Not good.

Is there a way of adding MF to a white list in Win10 to get around this??

Hi,

if your anti-virus-software block this software to download, the deactivate it until you finished the download. The activate your scanner and run the dowloaded file.
I myself use F-secure and do not get any warning.

Yes, indeed, MF can be setted on a white list, if you pay the license for it.

I think he mean a Whitelist inside his AntiVir Software.....

I not know it cause i not use any Deffender Tools on my computer..... But normaly most Tools got a option to exclude single files or downloads from a special source.
You must read the manual of your Virus Scanner.... Pretty sure it explane how you can make a exception.... e.g. To alow all Downloads from www.mobiflight.com

But sure.... Stephans system is much more easy..... Simply disable the tool temporary while you download the file. And re-activate it after you have installed MF.
Good Luck !

I think that is more than a false-positive problem?

If you are antoher problem than a AV trigger, please create a new post.

the last beta mention before has been release to 8.0.2, you can try to install the last release, no more AV trigger, you can check the virus total link.
