After updating to v8 the auto firmware update process started.
It worked ok for the 4 Arduinos, which I have. then the software wanted to update again and gave back an error.
In the list of available Arduinos I see my 4 boards and also 4 "unknown".

The status bar shows all three greens lights for Modules, Sim status and Simconnect.

When I deselect Auto-firmware update the starting procedure works normal.
With Auto-Firmware update activated, it always runs through all 4 arduinos, taking about 15 min in total, without the option to abort the process. This is a bit annoying....

Thanks for looking into it!

Sounds like a bigger Bug.... 15 Mins :scared: :scared:
Also if there is a needness to Update 4 Boards.... This should take seconds.... not 15 Minutes.

If possible please report this in Discord and Tag "DocMoeibus" to it. So Sebastian get directly involved.
May he will need also your mcc and mfmc files.... Simply talk to him.

Basic notes.

Whatever Sebastian still say he like a System that work automaticly ..... perfect ..... without any restarts by user or so.
My experince is that the firmware updates sometimes are problematic if you flash it over a existing one.
Specialy if you use the Beta Versions before.... so your Firmware is Up and downgraded multiple times.

I know this should not be the recommended workflow.... But for me if i get in trouble i simply EEPROM Clear the problematic Board and then MF flash it as a "virgin" Board and normaly this work perfect. Often also a simple "Blink Sketch" is enough. In both ways backup your Settings in a mfmc .... So you not need to create all from scratch again.

Summary i can only share my experience..... If i flash a "new" board i never get any trouble.... If i "update" a existing board i also have errors in the past .... but not verry often.
Good Luck !
