My apologies. Having a hard time getting a response on MSFS 2020 with a rotary encoder configured on an arduino mega 2560.

Have downloaded and installed the latest Mobiflight application and FSUIPC7. Both appear to work fine. When MSFS 2020 is started, mobiflight shown green status on both the module and FSUIPC.
The Arduino appears to be working fine, was able to run at least one sketch prior to attempting Mobiflight.
As far as I can tell, I configured the encoder with pin definitions, input settings (FSUIPC offset for radio/com1) etc properly, set to active and 'run'.

But when running Mobiflight alongside MSFS2020 and attempting to use the encoder(attempted with stock C152), the sim wouldn't register any changes from the rotary encoder.

What am I missing? Is there a way to test and verify that Mobiflight is registering an input signal from the arduino? What else should I be checking/verifying to get a response in the sim? Should there be any other indication in the sim that it can see the arduino or devices?

thanks for any help.

Sorry, figured it out myself.

Successfully used Captain Bob's button example to register a change in the landing gear switch. That told me communication was established between the sim and arduino.

Realized the Set Value expression for the encoder input settings was wrong. "$-10" and "$+10" did the trick.
