Hi,

A few years ago I successfuly built an autopilot panel for a PMDG737 and connected it to FSX via Mobiflight.
I am about to move to MSFS 2020 and would like to build some cockpit elements for the A320.
I have some questions:
Firstly, can I use the MSFS2020 events for all the controls and displays or will I need to use FSUIPC offsets too?
Secondly, if I wanted to build a MCDU, are the events or FSUIPC offsets available for the keys and display?

I remember fo rthe PMDG737 there was a list of all the specific FSUIPC offsets but I'm not sure if the equvalent exists for the MSFSS2020 offets for various aircraft?

Thanks for developing and maintaining this great piece of software.

Regards+

Hi
You have choose a "bad" moment for your swap!

What you call "MSFS2020 Events" you mean pretty sure the new "Simconnect feature", Sebastian implement last weeks.
Basicly.....
The PMDG Events you use in the past are a feature from PMDG.... They just use the FSUIPC System to fire them.... Means they locate the Events in a Area so you have the corespondending FSUIPC EventID“s to use them.

In P3D/FSX the FSUIPC also include all important Sim Events..... But with FS2020 and the current BETA Status of FSUIPC these Events are not already included.
I would say in some time ( If the Dowsons finsih there Software) then also FSUIPC will handle all or most of FS2020 Events.
Till this moment the only way to use these missing Events is to fire them via the Simconnect tool.

Finaly.... If PMDG release there B737 (ngx"u") for FS2020 then i expect they again support there Events via FSUIPC ( same way like in the past).

***********************
Summary:
In case i not use FS2020 i can not tell you what is possible at the moment. But i think a full cokcpit is not working at the moment.... Maybe Sebastian can include some new (curently missing) stuff from Simconnect. Whatever.... I will simply wait for FSUIPC Release Version.... Then all is working like before ( and i not need to use Sim Events )
Good Luck !

Thank you for the explanations. Is it possible to obtain a list of the current Simconnect events working for MSFS2020 ?

Thanks

Hi Again.

The Simconnect Events we talk about before are INPUTS .....
Now you ask for Displays.... these are OUTPUTS. And Outputs still working with FSUIPC Offsets only ( And we not plan for a other system here).

That means.... The A320 can be used and all Outputs that are still implement in FSUIPC 7 (Beta) are working.
You can check this ..... GEt into your FSUIPC installation folder.
There is a list called Offset-StatusVxxx ( A Excel Document as i know) .
There are listed all existing Offsets.
And there is as i know a color code.... Green means Working.... Yellow means "not tested" .... and Red means Defintily not working at the moment.

*********
About the Events....
There is no Download List..... But in case Sebastian not use "Numbers" (like in FSUIPC Ebvents) and directly support the named Events its pretty easy and logical.
If you use the New Mobiflight Version ( Beta 7.10.14) that include this Systems..... Then open that Function and look at the dropdown.
All Events that are included are listed in that dropdown.
Good Luck !
