Hi Friends,

I shared my project in some groups in facebook. However I couldn't find time to share it in our forum because of my busy schedule. I will share some pictures and videos from my projects.

I will also try to help with your detailed questions. Please try to be more specific while you are asking your questions. I will try to show you the way and do not forget there are always better/different ways with mobifilight.

Thx for Sebastian for the great software and pizman for his great ideas once upon a time he shared with me...

My Fcu works with FSLAB, AEROSOFT & MSFS 2020 Airbus. I will also try to include some videos in action with those softwares...

Here are some pictures from starting to finish. May be it can shed light on your projects. The buttons are my designs you can see from my 757 MCP project. It was very old. After my design, I saw more perfect ones than mine so I advice you to search for them in thingiverse... I always choose more practical, faster and cheaper solutions... :) Take it easy in your projects and buildings my friends... :)

Great project. :w00t:
It would be nice if you share where you bought your components (encoders, buttons...).

Nice Job, well done.

It seems that the buttons come from the 3-D-Printer.

Illuminated buttons, a.s.o. great Job,
Encoders i guess, should be that ones which are all too used here,

but it is and remains Airbus. No comparison TO Boeing Cockpits, i second that, if you like TO be the PIC e.g. the Pilot in Command.

Airbus, purely a matter of taste. But good work.

Keep on....

Mobiflight save files are not universal it means, it is unique to your computer, arduino or fsuipc settings so it probably won't work in your project. If you have questions, you can ask.

Benno, you can simply share all setting for each events .

Ho to manage ALT , how to manage SPEED etc.

This can be useful for all

Yeah, that what i'm asking, I already have my panel, my button and my arduino mega working OK

But, i'm strugling with MS2020 and the offset/event ect ... to get all the button to work / light ...

That why if you could share your config file (not the arduino one of course) I could load it and take a look on how you set all the parameters for every action the FCU need to make !

Hi,

For the Input events I used the fsuipc 7 log console. You can easily reach all the events by opening it via fsuipc7-log-open console. Do not forget to select events. When you click the buttons in fcu you will see a line in the console window which show you the exact event for you...
For example for LOC button: *** EVENT: Cntrl= 65723 (0x000100bb), Param= 0 AP_LOC_HOLD" This line means that we have to use 65723 for the LOC button.
Do not forget some buttons are not working via event ids like SPD/MACH switch so I used the virtual joystick function of mobiflight and I used it in MSFS control setting window.

For the outputs I used the old offsets for FSX. Yes they are still the same. You can easily reach these offsets via the drop down menu in mobiflight output setting.
Also I used some free offsets since I don't have pull and push function in my fcu. I used them to make it toggle switches like one push is "pull function" and another is "push function".

For my setup I used some unique ideas and therefore I have to adjust my settings according to it and believe me my config file will be meaningless for you. I used 4 digit + 1digit for ALT and VS display. Because the last digit is always 0. I made it via soldering to corresponded pins together and adjusted it according to battery offset. When the battery is on, it becomes alive and it shows 0 like the other digits. However I have to $*0.1 for the ALT value because I don't have 5 digit, I have 4 digit...

That's all my friends.

Hello, do you have pictures of the construction where you can see how the controls are connected to the arduino? thanks

How did you build the plate? Did you just print it on paper?

Sorry but I don't have any schema for that. :( I tried all the pins in 1 digit and found the pins that I need to write "0" and connected them together. Give them led out put and adjusted it according to main battery volt output when it is over 0 it turns on and it become available with other digits.

I printed them on sticker paper and use them on 5 mm pvc foam board.

Can you please explain me how to configure the 7seg display and the fcu altitude value? I'm using FSLABS, I followed a lot of tutorials, but it doesn't work.
Thanks
