Currently building an avionics panel with some Pro Micro and 7.10.0.12 MF.

Very often (as in 8/10) it will say "Upload finished with error" but appreciate that this is beta. Do the EEPROM_CLEAR every time, and still the same error. Big pain.

Anyway.

What are the available usable pins on the Pro Micro to use for simple LED/switch/encoders? I managed to use 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/14/15/16 - so 12 in total - but can the others be used as well?

Please share a link of your Pro Micro to confirm you use the correct one.

We still talk about that "problem" some weeks ago. I think Sebastian MUST check this a.s.a.p.

If i understand right there exist 3 kinds of "Pro Micro" . One called Micro Pro..... the other "Sparkfun Pro Micro" ..... And the 3rd " Mega Micro Pro"
The 2nd and 3rd will work i think..... But the basic "Pro Micro" from my point of view is much to small in memory to hande Mobiflight firmware ( witch explane the error in Flashing)
Good Luck !

Aha. I shall check.

I am using ones from AliExpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32768308647.html

I get most success when I add devices to the card one by one, and only call them "B2" or "E2" (short name) rather than "FUEL_PUMP" (long name).

Anyway, back to the original question - what are the permitted pins on the software? I can use 12, but that leave 4 unused/wasted.

Thanks, Neil.
