Hello,
i connected a stepper to a real analog meter gauge. I have some doubts and above all I do not understand the values that must be assigned in the test phase, the tutorials are very poor in this regard.

In the setup display we set sim / stepper (these are the steps that the stepper has to do in the instrument / indicator). then we assign 3600 cycles to the sim value, but in the stepper in a tutorial I read to leave 2048 ... Why?

and then in the 2700 test (my instrument starts from 0 up to 270).

I launch the test and it actually goes from 0 to 270 degrees but when I stop it stops at about 130 degrees it doesn't return to zero position.

Can you clarify this concept for me?

thank you!

Hi simone,

you should set the manual zero point. Go into the wizzard and there the tab display. Here you can set the zero point manually. Move the pointer in 50 or 10 steps to you zero point of the scale and click on the zero point button. Then click the test button and when the pointer stops press the stop button. Now the pointer should go to your previous defined zero point position.
If the buttons are grey, then go to you MF board (MENU -> EXTRAS -> SETTINGS -> Mobiflight Boards), search the stepper and set the hook in front of NONE. Then try again the above written.

Stephan (Time: UTC+2)
