Im new here,so i want to thank you for the software,looks great!

I have Arduino Uno,,the software see the card but i keep getting this error msg when trying to edit input line for auto pilot CRS or any other line.

" the selected module does not contain any input devices.Do you want to add such devices? "

I cant choose any type of display,my case is MAX7219

i see green "v" sign for modules and also green "v" sign for FSUIPC

Also i see the Uno named as Mobifligh Uno

I update the firmware.

Uno Port - COM3
i see the serial number,also the type.

pls advice.

Have you configured any devices like switches or led modules in the settings section?

yes i did

i go back to your parking led video,select output led , pin 5 ,than go to display,choose my mobiflight uno card,when pulling down window to choose the type of display its empty .

i see FSX and MF are "talking" but i dont see any display on the uno card that get any information,no data leds are blinking on the uno card

OK,i mange to turn the led ON but when i add 7 seg display the software kind of get crash and i need to start all over

maybe silly question: Have you ticked (hooked) the little square in your output line left of "LED" to make it active before RUN ?

Yes i did but the problem is with the 7 segrment display max7219 .when i add 7 segment display i cant choose in the window where i can choose led or other devices and program needs to restart...uno need to upload eprom clean sketch .than need to upload mobiflight to uno agin and still wont work.with leds all is ok.with 7 segment dispaly in my case its not working.you can see the video i post at the link above.tnx!!

First please work a little bit slower next time. need to stop and replay lots of times to see exactly what you do !
I cant see any issues from youreself.... Was a little confused why you always save and load youre device config ! This is not needed. If you change /add a new device you only need to "upload" it on the board. a save of the config is never needed. (Only for a backup) BUT this normaly not be a problem.

The Error itself.

I see the problem with the empty Display field..... Additional normaly in the below lines there isn´t a input for 7 segment like seen in youre vid. Think this is a bug or a reset issue !
Remember the UNO support is still new. Maby Sebastian have some hidden bugs that not fixed at the moment. With youre Vid it should be reproducable. So give him a little time !

By the Way....
Please make a test for me..... Set a 7 Segment Display in Devices Menue like in Video...... Upload it to Board.... ( NOT try to set the display in a config) THEN Close Mobiflight .... Disconect youre Uno from USB
Reconect it after some secconds.... Wait 10-20 Sec until Windows found the board.... And NOW Start Mobiflight (With Admin Status) .

Please report now....
1. Is Board automatic found by Mobiflight ?
2. Is in Devices menu the Entry of 7 Segment still listed
3. Can you NOW in Config Tab / Display find the 7 Segment in Drop Down Menu ??

I sometimes have the problem that after a Firmware flashing the Board (And Mobiflight) need both restartet / reconectet before everything is working fine. In Youre Vid you Flash the Board and config it without a clean restart !

when starting MF i see unknow device,upload firmware,firmware is OK but still unknown device,so i need to make eprom clear using arduino sketch,after that i go back to MF and update firmware and i see MobiFlight Uno,add device 7 segment, update, close the program after asking mme to save this file and i save it.when open MF again i need to start all over .

as you say...i didnt go to the 7 segment display tab,but in any case i dont see 7 segment in the display tab just LED if i add it.

I think the problem is the uno. On my Mega card it works great, on my uno lots of problems like this. If you compare the prices today you can get a mega clone for $6 so i will just use megas and leave unos for other projects. So many things you can do with arduino lol.

i just order 3 mega cards...now its "just" two months waiting.

If the firmware flash not work and you have to do this on every start the problem is at the UNO.

Please wait for response of Sebastian about the UNO situation.

now its realy strange......i got from a friend arduino mega and try to upload firmware for the first time and i get error msg "there was an error on uploading the firmware enable debug logging for more details"

the mega works fine with other programs

Problem is the Auto Flash Function i think.....

As explaned in other thread the Problem is, that Mega´s got same PID like Uno´s. sebastian not knew this some weeks ago.....
So it look like Mobiflight try to flash UNO Firmware on Mega´s cause it can´t see the difference at the moment.

Again please be patient.... He work on a solution.
As i explane in other topics... Try to use older version of mobiflight until a new patch or hotfix clear the situation.
