good evening I have a cockpitsonic mcp, I use p3d and Pmdg 737. With the original drivers of the cockpitsonic mcp I am not able to interact with p3d and receive from the same information such as altitude, course. all values are zero. i own fsuipc registered. looking on the net I read about interacting with Pmdg offsets. I wanted to know if with the mobiflight software I could solve the problem, at least as regards receiving data from p3d to mcp hardware. thanks for the help you will want to give me. greetings Johnny

Hi
Welcome to Mobiflight.

At first your question is technical splittet in two parts.

1. Is the Panel Compatible with PMDG ?
Here you must ask the support of the cockpitsonic Panel OR you must link me a Datasheet or a manual of there system.
You say something like "Original drivers"..... so you mean this Panel got a own Self running Software you can set the Displays, LED and Input devices to FSUIPC Offsets and EventIDs??

Basicly.... PMDG use other Offsets like a Standard Aircraft. If the software of your Panel read hardcoded Offset X for Altitude then you can maybe not use PMDG. If you can choose the Offset itself OR the Company support a special version for PMDGB73/ NGX ( that use the needed Offsets) then it will work.

2. Is the Panel Compatible with Mobiflight ?
I don´t know without see this Panel or read the manual. Mobiflight require a Arduino MEGA Controller. If the Board not use it you can not controll it.
Also MF need for Displays a Max7219 Chip. If it not include it it will not work.
Technical you can rework this panel to be Mobiflight Compatibel..... But this is only the verry last way you should go!

SOLUTION
If your lucky the issue is pretty easy to solve. Hopefully your Panel is compatible to PMDG. Then i think you forgot to eneable Data Broadcast in the PMDG INI File ( and/Or your PMDG and the FSUIPC Version is not Up to Date) Without this all Offsets are shown "000000" .
Hopefully after this you can use the Panel with the original drivers and not need Mobiflight !

So
Step 1: Check PMDG is in UpToDate Version
Step 2: Check FSUIPC and SIM are in newest Version
Step 3: Edit the CFG File of PMDG and set "Enable DataBroadcast =1" like explaned in the PMDG Manual.

In 99% of cases i will say this is the problem !
Good Luck !

hello and thanks for the welcome and reply. I contacted pmdg and they told me that I had to hear the cockpitsonic to get sdk while the cockpitsonic, he told me that I have to program in C ++. but I'm not capable of it. The mcp has I / O cards with adapters that become USB. I did a test, once connected I started a cockpitsonic exe which turns me on and sees both efis and mcp, then going to fsuipc I tried in the Button / switch screen to press to register a button. in fact nothing happens. so i think there is no possibility. i have all updated, latest version pmdg, fsuipc and p3d. and I enabled the data entry in the ini file "Enable DataBroadcast = 1.
Sorry for the time from your reply.
Thank you

Jo :)

Don´t give up to early.....

You buy ( for pretty sure a lot of money) a premade product from CockpitSonic.
I don´t know it ( as i said) so i not know the "manual".

If they tell you "compatible with PMDG" then its THERE Job do help you. You buy it .... it will not work..... So the can not say you should programm in C++ a Code to solve this. it´s THERE Job to do this !

Sure if they just say "compatible with FSX/P3D" and not directly say "usable with PMDG" then it´s your fault..... it´s like you buy a charger for your smarphone but not confirm yourself if its compatible with the connector.

Sumamry:
If you like give us some links.... we can overview it.
If it´s realy not compatibel, and you got some skills in electronics you pretty sure can "rework" it with some money and some (many) time.
Good Luck !
