Hi. Im wanting to construct a basic set of instruments and controls using Mobiflight. This would be for flying the c172 on FSX.
I have the most basic understanding of Arduino. So what would folk advise as the best starter system. Im not interested in building a simulated cockpit just making flying easier by not having to use the computer keyboard.

Cheers.

Hi Gasdom!

Welcome to MobiFlight!

If you only want to built the things you need and not use the keyboard do the following:

Start FSX and your C172. Always if you use the keybord make a notice on a sheet of paper. Continue flying until you land and switch off the C172.

Then you have a sheet of paper full with the functions you shoult build with MobiFlight without needing the keyboard.

If someone other make this list for you it maybe that you are missing something or mean it is superfluous.
So the best starter system does only exist for everybody himself, it doesn't have to suit you.
If you then have problems to realize that, drop here a note.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)
