Hi, all. I have several encoders on my 6-pack panel. When I operate them, they are very slow to respond, and laggy. a quick turn of the dial will take several seconds to catch up. How do I go about fixing this issue?the encoders have 20 detents, trying to get more info on them. Thanks, Dave

Please Confirm that "Logging" is disabled.
Logging Mode massiv reduce polling rate of Encoders and should be used only for troubleshooting.

If Problem still exit please increase FSUIPC Polling Rate by 1-2 Steps to find a good spot maby.

Finaly think about your AddOn.
Direct Inputs work better as "bypassed" Inputs. For example Jeehell Datapipe is a Bypass. Here the internal process already slow down the system. Not important for a switch but badly for a encoder who make 5-10 Inputs within 1 second.

Well I'll be! I LOVE simple solutions. I did the first two on your list of suggestions, and the issue is completely gone! Good thing, because I'm really unclear what you mean by "add on."

I moved the FSUIPC polling all the way up, seemed to have the most realistic action there.

With "AddOn" i mean the Aircraft you use.....
99% of Users NOT fly with Standard Aircrafts that are included in FSX/P3D ..... Normaly we use for example PMDG ( Boeing) , A2A ( Cessna) Jeehell ( A320) and so on.
And here every AddOn have a different Logic how they handle Inputs .... some are "better" some are "not so good" if you use Mobiflight.

I also wish you goold luck and health ! I saw yesterday a Livecam from Times Square and was shocked to see the former most busy and sleepless place of the world in this ghosty death moment. Hopefully this nightmare ends soon and we come back to normality !
