I have connected all pmdg ngx overhead LEDs ok but I want the LEDs to turn off when the battery switch is off. I know you can add pre conditions but have no idea how to do it. A basic tutorial would be very helpful if any one knows how to do it.

Hi,

I am also currently working on a Mobiflight/NGX project.

To my understanding, if you have connected the NGX announciators to your Arduino via Mobiflight, the lights should only light up when the in-game NGX announciators are on. So in theory, there should be no preconditions necessary...

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

That is what I thought and they do all work correctly when there is power, however When turning the battery switch off some annunciators stay illuminated even though in game they are turned off.

Hi Stuart,

that is weird indeed... Are you sure there is no problem with the connection of the announciators and Mobiflight/FSUIPC?

You could try though to find the offset for the main battery switch and use its "on" state as precondition for the announciators that dont work (basically the same as done in the Precondition tutorial).

Maybe that helps.

Hi,

Can you share how did you use the precondition? I have the same issue with the emergency exit light not armed annunciator.
Thanks,

Jose
