B) HI

Jay,

it seems to me, that in your chosen connection (Board), the white cable at J2 is that responsible digital PWM Line,

Furthermore:
VCC: 5V+
GND: Ground
SDA: Analog IN
SCL: Analog IN

or I‘m wrong?

Greetings, thx
Max

The white cable is marked as Analog.
Here's a detailed manual for the Eval kit where you can find out more.

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://ams.com/documents/20143/36005/AS5600_UG000379_1-00.pdf/46941386-c22a-f4ad-7fc2-ce9c3bb4af4e&ved=2ahUKEwjRwq-u89vmAhVUTsAKHdE1B5sQFjADegQIBhAC&usg=AOvVaw1CN30MXLCby7i7MDWooRlE

Just wondering why do you want to know that?
Are you planing to get one too?

Regards

In that case, here's the datasheet for the chip itself,

https://ams.com/documents/20143/36005/AS5600_DS000365_5-00.pdf/649ee61c-8f9a-20df-9e10-43173a3eb323

and another one for the breakout board.

Will post more links later;)

I bought mine from Mouser Electronics.
Shipped from US to UK within couple of days.
Digikey also does them as AMS them selves seems to be out of stock.

For the Chinese ones, the delivery takes long but you can try this one instead:

https://coolcomponents.co.uk/products/grove-12-bit-magnetic-rotary-position-sensor-encoder-as5600?variant=29543511785533&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAiA3abwBRBqEiwAKwICAy1ODCRIpE-OjtFX32yzviHkE1Rlev0KN_8oYPrgm2FWLUfZfx15YxoCpVAQAvD_BwE

These guys also provide Arduino library (resources tab on the page above).

All of these packages share the same chip so the datasheets apply to either of them.

Ok, just be aware that the magnet needs to be "diametrically magnetized".
Get one 6x3mm on eBay, they cost next to nothing.

Did you use a resistor in your circuit?
If yes, what value?
