Hello Guys,

I am experiencing a few issues in debug mode. Especially with KY-040 Encoders on my DIY MCP. The debug box is steady at first, and the first few attempts to turn the enocoder work fine. Then on the 3 rd or 4th consecutive turn of a single enocder, I get the following message repeating non stop:

FSUIPC2Cache: Skipping Process(), last read() less than 90

This is causing me a problem in a couple of ways:

1) A lag builds up between the input and action. When you add in 5 more encoders, there's over a second delay between input and action
2) Switch movements are missed, it takes two or 3 attempts to get the input to work
3) I cant see what button is displayed because it disappears to quickly.

As soon as I switch off debug mode, all returns to normal. Of course this really isn't a problem, but i find debug mode really handy in fault finding switch presses etc.

Do you know why this is happening? or how i can slow it down ? (i have already switched from 100ms to 500ms in fsuipc reporting time) but it still occurs.

Is this a common problem? or is it just my machine or human error?

Kind regards

Karl

Hi.
This is a Symptom of the changes in 7.5.2

In case we want to solve the "Logging Debug Bug" where users have missing Events in Normal mode and the need to work with Debug mode all time to fix it in the past.

The new version now work much more better for those people.... But NOW the Running of DEBUG Mode occure in Problems.
I think Sebastian still work on it and maby can give us a better solution in the future.

BUT

In your case the awnser is simple.... NOT use Debug Mode if you not need it. For testing something set it to ON. But while flying simply disable it. The Debug Mode is not build to run it all the time .... its only to find issues ....
So if i understand correct and you have no problems WITHOUT Debug Mode.... Then simply disable it !
Good Luck !

Wonderfull.

As i said... We are not happy about the situation....
But in case we could solve ( or better we could reduce problems) of this All time existing Bug we decide to accept this resulting new symptoms in Logging mode temprarly.

In easy words... It was more important to help 20% of users that can“t use Mobiflight without having massive issues. The "bad" logging mode now is the smaller Problem finaly.

Pretty shure in next seasson when Sebastian can work some days on Mobiflight he try to solve it completly !
Good Luck !
