Hi Guys

I have half of my flight sim on the main pc in the office (Main PC) but I have been working on the Overhead panel in the house (Separate PC), Obviously I have lots of settings already setup on the Flight Sim PC and now I'm ready to install the overhead panel.

Is there a way I can combine both MCC files to make one complete file?

I've tried to edit through Notepad and copy 1 from the other, but when I load it into Mobi, I get a syntax error

Hi

There is no direct tool to "combine" 2 Files. ( Cause 2 Files can have identical data like name of devices and so on ) Then a simple "combine" occure in errors.

BUT
Your on the correct way. The key is to use a text editor and you copy the needed stuff from one file to the other.

I think your issue is that you try to copy-paste the whole file. THIS is not possible !
I recommend to use a programm like "notepad++" . There you have a visual better view on the script and you can see the "parts" .

Now... You must split up your file in Inputs and Outputs..... and you must copy paste each block single.
(Bad to explane i hope you understand)

Note:
The Output Section start with code line <outputs> and ends with codeline </outputs>
The Input section start with <inputs> and end with </inputs>

These lines can exist only one time in a file.... So you should not copy them and paste it so finaly they are multible existing !

A Config (whatever in or output) starts with <config guid xxxxxxxxxxx > and end with </config>
THATS the part you need to copy.

So.. For example if you like to copy all Outputs from Config 2 to Config 1....
Mask in config 2 from the first <Config guid xxxxxx> line ( One line below the <outputs> line)
and mask all configs until the last </Config> line of Outputs ( One line above the </outputs> line)
Then insert these on the End of the Config 1 Output section ( Between the last </Config> and the </Outputs> line)

Same System for Inputs again.... And then your file is combined... BUT Please get sure there exist no duplicated names or devices in the 2 configs before you combine them)

If you need help or example file request here again !
Good Luck !
