Hello Sebastian,

First of all thanks for your very nice and much appreciated MobiFlight connector

After installing the new version, 7.0.0., my Mega isn't recognized anymore (as it was in 6.3.0).

It's name is shown as Arduino Mega 2560 (COM7)

The hardware id's show as:
USB\VID_2341&PID_0042&REV_0001
USB\VID_2341&PID_0042

Any suggestions?

Best Regards,
Marty.

Loony reported the same error but after restarting MobiFlight it now works for him.

What Windows Version are you running?
Have a great day!

Yes, that seems to be the case... after checking for updates, the tool then continues to connect to all the found boards. This is new in 7.0 because I ran into trouble when MF Connector was connecting to modules but the Software got shutdown for update. It made the process hang and the software update fail.

Do you have some firewall restriction for the Connector?

I will check whether I can change the logic in case there is a connection timeout, even though I was testing it with NO connection.
Have a great day!
Sebastian

Hi guys,

what happens if you explicitly let MobiFlight check for new updates (Help > Check for update) ??

Hi Sebastian,

When I let MobiFlight check for updates, I get another line with "Checking for updates" in the debug window.

Please Check whether MF is blocked by your Firewall until I fix it.

Hi Sebastian,

Switching off the Windows firewall and the firewall in the router doesn't help, please let me know if there are other things to check.

I released 7.0.1 with the fix.

Probably you don't have an internet connection on the PC where MF Connector is running.
Please confirm that it is working for you.
Have a great day!
