Hallo zusammen,
ich baue schon seit einigen Jahren an einem Cockpit (737 mit FSBUS) und seit kurzer Zeit auch an einem Fullmotion BMW Simulator mit echtem Cockpit auf Arduinobasis.

Bedingt dadurch das FSBUS schon recht alt ist und wohl auch nicht mehr weiter entwickelt wird suche ich natürlich nach alternativen. Arcatze hatte ich vor Jahren schon auf dem Schirm und hatte mir seinerzeit die Module zum Testen bestellt.

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe wird für jede LED ein Pin eines Arduinos benötigt. Wieso macht macht man nicht eine unterstützung für z.B. Shiftregister 74hc595, Displaydriver etc. Dann wärs wohl fast perfekt.
Ich benutze fertige Breakoutboards http://www.sim-pc.de/shiftregister-74hc595/ von den man zig hintereinander stecken kann. Also > 200 LED oder 7Segmentanzeigen an 3 Kabeln. Selbstverständlich wird es deutlich günstiger wenn man sich selbst eine Platine macht und die Teile drauf brezelt.
Schön währe es auch wenn man mehrere Arduinos hintereinander schalten könnte und einfach stapelt http://www.sim-pc.de/arduino-mit-arduino-verbinden-i2c/.

Also, wer von euch baut denn an einem wirklich grossen Projekt ? >200 LED's, Displays, Schalter, Rotarys und Servos
Wie sind Eure Lösungsansätze ? Lässt sich sowas mit Mobiflight allein umsetzten ?

Leider fehlt mir die Zeit dafür bzw. habe ich sie in den Support für Max7219, Servo, Stepper, PMDG und Co. investiert. Habe MCP23017 rumliegen, genauso auch TLC5940... kommt vielleicht irgendwann. In der Zwischenzeit verwende ich einfach mehrere Boards, die kosten doch fast nix.
