Use XLoader to upload .hex files to your boards and use 7.1.2 version of MobiiFlight since a new patch comes out.

hey slammer! I'm trying to do so but i dont know where to find the .hex file. the only hex files i can find are in the mf/firmware folder and the only mega files in there are mobiflight_mega_1_4_1.hex, _1_6_1.hex, _1_7_1.hex, _1_7_2.hex..... ive tried them all and when i start mobiflight the card is still seen as unknown and when i click on it says firmware n/a, port COM3, serial n/a, and type Arduino Uno.

Insall 7.2.2, get the latest firmware from there, and load it via XLoader, then revert the software to 7.1.2, profit!

I Cracked it! In Xloader, make sure you pick Mega2560 and the correct com port before you try to upload the hex file. To find the download of ver 7.1.2, hover your button over the download pushbutton. You will see the link for the download at the bottom of your web browser. Write the link into the address field, but replace the file name with the version you want (7.1.2), and you get to download the earlier version. Just beware that as soon as the program starts, it will say it's outdated and suggest you download the newer version. So don't press ok on that one.
