Wonderfull !

At First thank you for your testing process....

As i said multiple time..... The User who got the Bug is the best testing Person..... Its hard for me to reproduce it if you already got it.

Now we know....
Problem is you can Set a Second Display and it worked fine... But after Closing Mobiflight and reconnect Arduino the sketch /Firmware on the Arduino is broke.
With ONE LCD there is no problem.

I´m sorry i can not test/reproduce this cause i only own ONE Display. ( I not need it in my Boeing 737 and just bought it to make some testings in the past for Sebastian)
(Maby !!STEPHAN!! got 2 Displays and can shortly test this out)

At the Moment Sebastian is verry busy to release Mobiflight 7.5 . I Hope he read this an will have a look on it.

LAST NOTE
Please Confirm you use a verry SHORT Name for your LCD Displays.
We get some Issue Reports in the past about problems with long Device Names.

If possible do a last test for me.... Set your 2 LCD Dispalys on ONE Arduino ( like in the past) But this time get shure the NAME of the LCD Display Devices are realy short like lcd1 and lcd2 .... NOT named it like "Display-Com#and$Nav Data" Not use Signs like $%&/ or Spaces and not use a longer name like maby 6 letters.

Please report if short names solve problem already !
Good Luck !

Hello,
I tried to name the two displays "lcd1 and lcd2", but the test was not successful.
When I open mobiflight the card is not recognized.
I await your news. thank you

Hello,

I have tested here and can confirm the bug!
Test situation. 1 LCD 16 x 2, address 0x27, 1 LCD 20 x 4, address 0x23. As a name, I have assigned LCD1 and LCD2. So only 2 different LCDs were available for the test.

It is actually as described, with a 2nd LCD device and its configuration, the module is no longer usable after reloading MobiFlight.

On the installation of the 1st LCD, I do not go on, because everything here is normal and correct.

Also, the installation of the 2nd LCD is easily possible. It appears "Mobiflight Rocks" and after determining the screen content in the Config and pressing the Test button, this is also displayed correctly.

If FSUIPC is now active, and the simulation is started, the previously defined values are displayed correctly on both displays.
Then both files, .mfmc and .mmc files, were saved and MF closed.

It also does not matter if the module is disconnected from USB or not. After restarting MF, the module is no longer recognized. An error message does not appear. Only after deleting the EEPROM on the MEGA can the module be initialized again for MF.

Also, the exchange of LCD-modules, so the 2-line in the first place against the 4-line and vice versa showed no change. After restarting MF, the displayed module name is a single graphic symbol each time.

So much for my test. Now the developer is in demand.
Grüße,
Stephan (Time: UTC+2)

Hi Dako.

Problem is reported in the Bug List.... And Sebastian know it. https://bitbucket.org/mobiflight/mobiflightfc/issues/194/arduino-mega-not-recognize-after-restart

But i can not tell you if this bug is already solved in the next or maby in the follow version.
I also not know if next release come in 1 week, 1 month or maby in 1 Year.

For a specific time information you need to wait for a reply from Sebastian !
Good Luck !
