Hi,

Just started using Mobilflight with an Arduino card (a clone made by Elegoo) - I am doing the tutorials to learn how to install indicator lights - The test tells that all is connected and working but when doing the test the LED and the entry in the Mobiflight software flash rapidly - I have set an PMDG offset for the A/T Arm annunciator and this works fine but I am worried this flashing means I have done something wrong.

The LED has a resistor of the correct value connected and works find when connected to a Leo Bodnar card.

Any help would be great as I don't want to damage the Elegoo card.

What do you mean ??
Do you use the "TEST" button in Top of Mobiflight connector ( near STOP and RUN) ??

If Yes then all is fine. The TEST button means it test all LED in your system one by one. This sequence is pretty fast.
Normaly if you have hundrets of LED set it will run through all.... If you only have ONE LED set then it loop only thorugh this ONE Entry... And that occure in a fast flickering.

Please just do the follow....
Start Sim (With PMDG) ... StartMobiflight while Arduino is connected. .... Push the RUN Button.
Now LED Should not flickering.... it shouldbe OFF if Function is sim is disabled OR it should be ON when function in Sim is active !

Please report if this is correct.
Good Luck !

Hi,

It works OK when it is running and connected to the sim. The event I have it connected to works - I was just concerned that when testing it was flickering - just needed to confirm I was not going to damage the card.

Thanks for the reply
