Hi
I am using stepper motor to simulate duct press, apu egt and wet compass.
Is it possible to configure in same way in order the neddle goes always to the zero position?
I obviously tried with "set zero" and it works ok if, usin duct press gauge as an example, I let the pressure to go down before exit Prepar3D.
But if I have a crash or for whatever the reason a leave the simulator with press = 20, next time I start it, the zero position is where the neddle was (i.e. 20)
Is it possible to solve it?
Thanks!

Jose

The Problem is normaly not the simulator !

While setup you define a Zero Position for the motor in Mobiflight..... So Mobiflight ( And Arduino) know this point.

Now it´s not important that you tide up the function in simulator (for example you set Battery Off so the needle goes to zero in simulator) !
Whatever the simulator crash or you stop sim while needle is NOT in Zero Position..... Important is the next step !

When you STOP Mobiflight ( Not close Mobiflight .... i mean STOP the connector ).... THEN the stepper normaly should run back to his ZERO Position.
If you kill Mobilfight (Close / Cold reset/ Task manager) or if you pull out the USB Wire of Arduino while running THEN the Stepper can´t turn back and loose it´s zero position.

summary.... When you stop your flight (Whatever youreself or by a error) then stop Mobiflight and WAIT until all motors are back in zero.... For example a altimeter when you stop in 38000 ft must turn back 38 full rotations until it reach zero !
Good Luck !

Hi, sorry but it is now working.

I don't know why but I'm lossing zero.

Would you mind to have a look to my gauges configuration? Here you can download a document with all the config screens of my three gauges.
