I am running FSUIPC 5 with P3D v4. and using Mob1flight v 7.4.0

I have followed the tutorial for adding a switch as best I can (the documentation is a bit out of date with this) and I can't get Mobiflight to work.

In D-bug mode I am getting messages that seem to indicate that the buttons being used are working correctly. Will Mob1flight work with P3D v4?

Hi, welcome !

Basicly Mobiflight will work with P3D ... Also with V4.

Please confirm you test your buttons with a standard aircraft....
If you use PMDG for example the FSUIPCList will not work for you.

So please....
.
1. Use a Standard Aircraft from P3D
2. Check FSUIPC is up to date
3. For Testing use easy standard functions.... For example Parking brake.

report experience.... If it not work we will check detailed your problem.
Good Luck !

i have the same problem with encoder and key function in p3d v4.
For the rest tried to test with default and other functions all work perfect.
I think the problem is only with key press assign in fsuipc 5.13 and mobiflight key.

thanks

ok,
i test now again tryng to assign not a special function like lvars events or macro but parking brake default.

Fsuipc 5.131 new
P3Dv4
Leonardo Maddog2018

1. set a keypress ctrl+shift+L parking brakes 1 and ctrl+shift+K parked 0
2.go in mobiflight assign to encoder left o and right 1
nothing

i think there is a problem with key and fsuipc interface. It seem if i remeber with the previous fsuipc tested something and work perfect.

Ask at this point if mobiflight can test with this new one fsuipc (because the new one have again the mouse macro function need to my setup)

I have the following settings, and they don't work:

The release tab is the same as the press tab but with a zero in the last box

@ sissoffi

I reply in your other topic... Checkout.

@ J.G.

Please try as Value for "Brake ON" 32767 instead of 1

Also note the brake need some moments to set.... If you do that with a momentary button then Push and HOLD it for 2-3 Seconds before you release it.
And test it multiple times to prevent a missign event.

You can also use EVENT ID instead of FSUIPC Offset for your test run.... Here Event is. 65752 ( For Standard P3D/FSX Aircrafts)
Good Luck !

Thanks again for the help.

I now have six switches working that control all my a/c lights. I am going to try something more ambitious next!

Ok I now have a better understanding of how Mobiflight works, Its very impressive!

I have one last question. I want to use auto engine start which is control number 66224. However if I use this event ID it works, but starts all engines, one after another.
How can I map auto engine start to four buttons, one for each engine?

PS. I have tried putting a "1" in the Pram box which doesn't seem to do anything

I have worked around the issue by using toggle start for each engine.

Thats no issue.... You Simply use wrong Event

By the way.... Those Events from the Lists including ALL FSX/P3D functions that exist for standard Aircrafts.
So there are some "Non realistic" things like "autostart all engines" .... Cause in standard FSX you can set a Key or Joystickbutton for that....
Beginners not want to startup the engines with lots of steps.... they want to push a button and start to fly ( They see Flightsim like a Game and not like a simulation)

Summary.... If you work with Standard Stuff you must use SEARCH Function in the List,
( List can be found in your FSUIPC Folder ,,, Called "The 2016 list of FSX and P3d Controlls. pdf" )
Mostly you find lots of different Events for ONE situation.... Find out WHAT is the correct one by testing or google for it.
Good Luck !

Many thanks pizman for both the help and the advice. I have a ten buttons working now and plan for another nine. This will allow me to start four engines the proper way as well as all of the other controls wanted to implement.

There is one other type of control I want to implement.

My throttle has two knobs on it which I use for aileron and elevator trim. I have an encoder which I want to use for a rudder trim. If I get stuck I will raise another topic.

Thanks again, J.
