I have looked through the forums here, and searched on google with ZERO joy.....
My MCP panel is now complete and I am in the process of programming the software. I have the EventID's for the two Flight Director switches but regardless which switch I throw, BOTH lights come on..... is there something I am missing that allows each switch to only turn on the relevant LED......

HI

More Inofrmation pls....

1. What System (P3d Vxx FSX Xplane ) ?
2. What Aircraft (Pretty shure Boeing 737.... right ?)
3. What AddOn (PMDG Prosim, Standard FSX or something else ?)
4. What EventID used for Input FD CPT and what EventID used for Input FD FO ( And what Parameter)
5. What Offset used for FD LED CPT and What Offset used for FD LED FO ( Pls with Size, Typ and Compare if used)

Also Note.... FD in Boeing ( If we talk about 737) is a Master/Slave System i think.... That Means LED is NOT always ON if Switch is ON.... Only the MASTER Flightdirector will light the LED.... The Slave LED ( If Both FD Switches are ON) should be OFF. Not 100% shure but i rememer so. Pls check this !
Good Luck !

Sorry....

1. P3Dv4.2
2. PMDG 737NGX
3. Standard P3D Install
4. Capt FD LED: 6533 Int 1 BYTE, switch is on EventID 70010 Param: 563870912
FO FD LED: 6533 Int 1 BYTE, switch is on EventID 70039 Param: 563870912

You are correct in your statement regarding the FD in Boeing.... not sure if this can be programmed in Mobiflight....

I was very tired when I posted my first post. My apologies for the lack of info...... other than this I think my panel is complete.....

Don“t worry about that..... I just need to call for more information to help you !
You give info.... i give solution:thumbup:

Capt FD LED: 6533 Int 1 BYTE, switch is on EventID 70010 Param: 563870912
FO FD LED: 6533 Int 1 BYTE, switch is on EventID 70039 Param: 563870912

You have 2 Misstakes here !

1. You use wrong Offset !

iconQuote:

Offset: 6533 .... Size: 2 BYTE (x 2) .... Name: MCP_FDSw(2) ...

6533 is the Offset for the SWITCH Position .... Not the Offset for the LED Status.... That would be 6538 !!

***
2. You use for Both LED the SAME Offset ..... In Your Case you use the Offset from CPT Side also for FO Side !

iconQuote:

Offset 6538...... Size: 2 BYTE (x 2) .......Name : MCP_annunFD(2)....... Note: Boolean

All Offsets with this (x2) Flag means this are TWO Different Offsets for TWO Different Outputs ! ( Mostly if a element is multiple times in the cockpit like the FD LED.)
(Just for Information: There exist "x3" Offsets, too.... For Exampe Gear Green/Red ... In that Case the Offset include 3 Values One for each gear )

To solve.... this 2 Byte Offset can be see as Two individual 1 Byte Offsets.... So First Byte is CPT Flightdirector LED and Second Byte is FO LED.
You need to seperate them by using 2 Offset Adresses.... In Hexadecimal "6538 + 1 = 6539" so Byte 2 Means Offset 6539 !

Please use for CPT LED : Offset 6538 1 Byte INT .......... And for FO LED: Offset 6539 1 Byte INT

Have Fun !
Good Luck !
