This is my version of a radio panel for Cessna ...

Two Arduino Mega, many pushbuttons, encoders, displays ...

Hours of Mobiflight and hours of Kicad ... and isn't finished!!! I'm sorry I did not publish the prototypes on the test plate ... they have hidden themselves and do not want to appear in the photo !!!

And the pcb for connect Arduino with wire

It looks like its going to be a neat setup dhernan (is one image missing?). My Cessna-come-Beech radio stack is a fairly straightforward, though rather untidy, assembly of:- one Arduino Mega, 12x illuminated square push-button switches, 2x 4-position (of 12) rotary switches, 2x momentary push-button switches, 2x (as yet unused) miniature toggle switches, 9x (2x as yet unused) switchable encoders and 11x (2x2 joined) 7-segment MAX7219 LED displays. I twisted sets of wires from similar components and coded and/or labelled them which helped when troubleshooting. I also found it useful to install a fibre optical cable to lead two of the Arduino LED outputs out to the front of the panel so I could tell when there was activity. Five months later - on and off - I'm still working on it's Mobiflight configuration.

It seems that is a image missing ...

The mine Radio Panel (testing) have 27 illuminated switchs, 7 doublement illuminated, 10 encoders, and 15 seven segment displays of 3, 4 or 5 digits with a MAX7219 in each.

I'm trying update the images.

This is the top view. The PCB measures 254x157mm

I'm waiting the displays ...

And this the bot view

The 1st Mega is controlling CO, NAV, DME, XPDR and ADF. It's completely functional in test board.
The 2nd is in the begining ...

@dhernan Looking great. I have been working on my Radio Panel lately as well. I have already purchased the PCB-s. Waiting for them to come and assemble the first prototype :) For the whole radio to be functional, I need 3xArduino Mega2560. There will be plenty unused pins left to use them for other I/O on the cockpit.

Tomorrow I will post pictures of the plates. I asked them to JLCPCB and to have them soon, I have sent them by DHL ... 6 large and 5 small plates for 90 € including customs, and have only taken 8 days including the "stop"

The only thing that you can see is that they did not get the drilling file from the small plate and they HAVE COMMANDED IT WITHOUT DRILLING !!!

Greetings.
